So, Who we are and Why?
We are not brokers! ItzoTech is not a Private Equity firm, and therefore, we do not share the same acquisition practices, principals or strategies.
Our mission is simple: preserving the legacy of existing cybersecurity businesses without altering their unique perspective with “continuity” in mind for the customers, partners and employees after the acquisition. We have the capacity to grow and straighten what we acquire, especially if your company fits our profile.
A lot of Private Equity firms, conglomerates, are buying up everything, which is literary destroying the industry. There are lesser and lesser “mom and pops” businesses in the cybersecurity sector due to this phenomenon, and this tendency will continue to increase. When the PE firms buy up businesses, they become stronger and this can shift the course of an industry at will. This breeds dependence and corruption at a fundamental level, which has already destroying a lot of “mom and pops” in the sector.
In addition, most Private Equity firms are destroying the companies after the acquisitions, and if you transition your company on that route, what you have built over the years would be gone. We are different, we care about continuity of operations, especially if you business has competitive advantage and it is positioned in a unique way. We welcome all of that and we can certainly help preserve your legacy, your business, your employees, your customers, the TRUST and REPUTATION you have built over time. Your company’s reputation is our responsibility to maintain it in a good shape.
We understand that your business is like “your baby,” that needs to be taken care of, and we are here to help with any aspect, or endeavour in that area.
Our goal is to “shield” each company’s uniqueness via acquisition and combine them under our “ItzoTech umbrella” and protect everyone involved from the tendency mentioned earlier.
The cybersecurity landscape is rapidly changing and new technologies are coming out at a rapid pace. Only the companies that continue to “push the envelope” and advance their capabilities will emerge as the leaders. We intend to do just that by putting together the right leadership and carefully selecting the right technologies and services to propel us into the future.

Who’s involved in ItzoTech Acquisitions?
We have an experienced team behind ItzoTech that can help with business operations and due diligence to determine the effectiveness and the efficiency of the new companies we acquire. Our team would be responsible in making sure the businesses we acquire are run correctly on a daily basis and a proper management team is set in place, after a change of ownership. Of course, as a business owner, nobody knows your business better than yourself, so definitely you can help if needed to ensure smoother transition. In fact, we welcome it, because as mentioned earlier, we care about continuity of operations to ensure that your customers, employees and partners remain in the business after the acquisition process.

PJ has 25+ years of experience as Attorney and General Counsel at various organizations and associations. He's proudly a veteran pilot with over 3,000 flight time at the US Air Force. PJ handles the legal status of ItzoTech and he is also involved in legal due diligence on potential companies for acquisition. PJ has a strong legal background in M&A!
Cybersecurity Advisor
Served on an Advisory Board for the University of South Florida for cybersecurity curriculum for C-Level members. Scott had roles in SecOps, Compliance, Auditing, Program Management and in Risk Management with over 20+ years of combined experience. He's currently leading a SOC for an enterprise with 69K employees dispersed over 180 countries.
Financial Analyst
Accomplished in both start-up and established organizations and specializing in manufacturing but also experienced in import, export, high tech, wholesale, distribution, and service industries with over 40+ years of experience in A/R, A/P, P/R and generated timely financial statements, including analysis with statistical data, KPI’s and variance explanations.

IMPORTANT NOTE: We have a representation in a big accounting and law firm that can help with Acquisition Audits, Due Diligence, Quality of Earnings etc. We will use our partners there if needed, but this could slow down the process of acquiring and transitioning. That’s why mostly our team would be involved in due diligence and audits first. If we think involving the outside professionals is necessary step, depending on the complexity of the project, we’ll use them! That’s why we take only serious candidates for acquisition.
